The 2019 Maintenance Fee of $375, is due by January 1, 2019. If you are not able to pay the total amount due, you may come to the office to get on a payment plan. Playment plans will consist of 3 monthly payments of $125. At this time, there is no cost to get on a payment plan. After December 20, 2018, there will be a charge of $35 to get on a payment plan. Any account not paid before January 31, 2019, will incur a late fee of $35 on February 1, 2019 and a finance charge of 10%. The MPCA office will close early on Wednesday, November 21st and be closed all day on Thursday and Friday, November 22-23rd for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Calling all elves! Santa will be coming through Memorial Parkway on Saturday, December 22nd in a neighborhood parade at high noon! He'll be reviewing his List while riding through Park Brush, Park York, Park Meadow and Cimarron on his way to the Memorial Parkway Clubhouse for a wee snack before heading back to the North Pole. Please reach out to the HOA office if you'd like more information on participating in the parade with your local organization!
Are you excited to bake and taste all the delicious cookies that the holidays bring? We will have a Neighborhood Cookie Exchange after the parade at the Memorial Parkway Clubhouse! Please drop off your best family recipe cookies in a set of at least two dozen for a festive neighborhood exchange of merriment! We'd like to have the cookies by 10am; have cookies with nuts or common allergens identified, if possible. Santa may stay a little longer for photos, if the kids are on the "Nice" list!
Santa's Elves will be driving through Memorial Parkway looking for the best Christmas Lights Display. The top 5 winners will receive a prize! To participate, please be sure your lights are turned on from 7pm to 10pm, Tuesday, December 18th! If you would like to give us a suggestion, please nominate your favorites!!

The tennis courts at Cimarron Parkway Rec Center have been removed due to the deteriation of the asphalt. We are in the process of obtaining bids for a metal gazebo shade structure and playground. We hope to have the project completed over the next two months.

MPCA ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS & BOARD ELECTION
The Annual Meeting of Memorial Parkway Members will be Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 7pm in the Memorial Parkway Clubhouse located at 21600 Cimarron Parkway, Katy TX 77450. In order to have an official meeting, a quorum of 10% of the membership must be present through actual attendance or by directed proxy. If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete the directed proxy and return to the Memorial Parkway Community Office no later than 5pm on November 13, 2018. A statement along with the annual letter was mailed out to all homeowners October 10, 2018. If you did not receive a letter in the mail, please contact the office immediately. We are happy to announce that the 2019 HOA Dues will remain the same as last year. The 2019 Maintenance Fee of $375, is due by January 1, 2019. Payment plans are available in the office. Plans will consist of 3 monthly payments (November-$125 down payment, December-$125, and January-$125). You may get on a payment plan in the month of October and have your payments broken into four (4) months. You must come into the office prior to December 20, 2018 to get on a payment plan at no charge. After December 20th, there is a $35 charge to get on a payment plan.
Highlights from October 2, 2018 Board Meeting
1. Board approved removal of Cimarron Parkway Tennis Courts. Removal will begin Monday, October 8 and will take approximately 4 days.
2. Board approved change in insurance companies for an annual savings of $4,700. MP will be insured with Brady, Chapman, and Holland.
3. Board approved write-off for an account due to bank foreclosure in amount of $889.
4. Board approved annual letter to members. Letter along with statements will be mailed out October 10, 2018.
5. Board approved BBS Solutions to install 8 security cameras and required internet service for the Highland Knolls Pool and Courts at a cost of $2,765.79.
